Tata Motors will launch the all-new Safari on February 22, 2021. The automaker has already unveiled the Safari but is yet to reveal a few details like the official fuel economy figures, variant-wise feature distribution, and official price list. All these details will be announced on the launch date, i.e., 22 Feb. Deliveries of the new Safari will also commence from the same day.
The company has also started accepting bookings for the new Safari. Interested customers can book the new Tata Safari at any authorised Tata dealership by paying a token amount of Rs. 30,000. This amount is fully refundable in case a customer wants to cancel their booking.
The Safari is essentially a longer version of the Tata Harrier. It will be available in two seating configurations – 6-seater and 7-seater. The interiors also get a new colour scheme.
Powering the Tata Safari is a 2.0-litre, four-cylinder Kyrotec turbo-diesel that is capable of producing 170 PS and a peak torque of 350 Nm. Transmission options include a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed torque converter automatic.
