The highly awaited TVS Apache RR 310S will be launched in India in the month of August 2017. This information has been revealed by a dealer partner of the Chennai-based two-wheeler manufacturer.
The Apache RR 310S will be TVS Motors’ new flagship motorcycle. It will also be the automaker’s first attempt at building a middleweight sportsbike. The Apache RR 310S is essentially a production version of the TVS Akula concept that was showcased at the 2016 Auto Expo in Greater Noida. For the production model, TVS has slightly toned down the styling of the bike. Remember that exposed carbon fibre finish on the Akula concept? Well, that’s been given a farewell as the production bike has been spotted with matte black shades of blue and black.
The Akula RR 310S has been developed under the TVS – BMW Motorrad alliance. It is thus the second bike to come out of the Indo-German venture, after the BMW G310R.
