The 2018 Hyundai Creta facelift has been spotted in India without any camouflage. This is the first time that the updated model has been spotted in the country without any disguise, thanks to insiders of the Team-BHP forum. The company is yet to reveal an official India launch date of the Creta facelift. However, we expect the launch to take place around June 2018.
As seen in the image, the new Creta 2018 gets an updated front fascia. This includes a large hexagonal grille with horizontal slats and a chrome border, new headlamps with a revised arrangement of projectors and LED daytime running lights (DRLs), a redesigned front bumper with a larger air dam, which is surrounded by a new silver border. Other changes expected with the 2018 Hyundai Creta include a new set of alloy wheels, reworked rear bumpers, revised taillight assemblies, and an optional sunroof on the higher trims.
On the inside, changes would be minuscule. The dashboard layout will remain identical, while no major feature additions are expected. The only alterations likely to be made on the new model will be around the infotainment system and the seat upholstery.
Mechanically, the new Hyundai Creta 2018 remains identical to the outgoing model. Hence, it will be offered with a 1.6-litre, four-cylinder petrol engine, a 1.4-litre turbo diesel, and a 1.6-litre turbo diesel. Transmission options on offer would include 6-speed manual and automatic gearboxes.
