Jeep Renegade India – Everything we know so far!

The Jeep Renegade is expected to launch in India sometime in 2018. This will become the most affordable SUV from Jeep in the country. As a result, there are many eyes on the India launch of the Renegade SUV. While the company hasn’t revealed an official launch timeline yet, the Renegade has already been spotted testing under heavy camouflage multiple times. Hence, it is clear that Jeep is heavily considering the compact SUV for India, in order to compete against the likes of the Hyundai Creta, Renault Duster, etc.

The Jeep brand is on its way to becoming the bread and butter range of the FCA group in India. The most affordable product from the American SUV maker, the Jeep Compass, was launched in the first half of 2017 and everything else is history. The Compass has managed to bring life to the rather boring FCA portfolio and India and has become the best selling product from the automotive group.

Now, Jeep India is working on a new product that will enter its range at a slightly lower price point. This will not only help the company to compete in the larger volume segment but will also bring more customers to the Jeep family. As a result, the company will be launching the Jeep Renegade in India in order to fulfil these responsibilities.
